Sell him now...for 6 million...Priceless.
He's been told he is going no where til the end of his contract so he will go in the summer. It'll give the new boy a chance to acclimatise to the team and the way they play and give him a chance to fight for a place against Tomkins and Collins.

I think everyone realises it's not our money.
Most people have gone one step further than you though, and considered what the club could do with the £6m. Ie would it be better to sign a £10M centre half in January and sell Reid, or keep him for 6 months and potentially sign a £4m replacement in the summer.
Thanks for your insightful contribution though.

Reids form has dipped last several games but he'll come good again imo
